Organizer Training

Our CWA organizing model is heavily worker led and requires deep education. Our CODE-CWA Organizer Training program is designed to teach worker organizers the fundamental skills they'll need to build power and agency at work.

CWA members and staff co-teach three recurring public classes:

• Class 1: Intro to Unions and Organizing
• Class 2: Organizing Your Coworkers
• Class 3: Building Your Organizing Committee

Learning doesn't stop when class ends:

Worker organizers also get further training as they work with CWA staff and other union members over the course of their specific union campaign around direct action, strategy & tactics, campaign messaging, bargaining, political education, and more.
